HERE'S WHAT'S POURING:
Double Predestination (Double IPA, 12 oz. @ 8.7%)
You’re going to love this beer (whether you like it or not!). Loaded with Centennial, Simcoe, and Citra hops, this beer simply oozes grapefruit and citrus, with a touch of pine and nice graininess. Bet you can’t drink just one!
Amandus (Belgian Strong Golden Ale, 12 oz @ 8.5%)
St. Amandus was a Belgian monk famous for his hospitality: he became the patron saint of brewers, bartenders, and innkeepers. With hints of banana, pear, and cloves, this beer is our toast to a great man in a great region!
40 Days & 40 Nights (American IPA, 16 oz. @ 7.5%)
This is our “desert island” beer. If we were lost in the wilderness, with only one beer to drink for the rest of our life, this would be it. Gigantic, thirst quenching hoppy goodness. This one will have you going to the well again and again.
Despereaux (French Saison, 12 oz. @ 6.1%)
The Saison was first brewed for thirsty farmhands who toiled in the French countryside. Pale and crisp, with a subtle spicy undertone - we hop ours with Melon & Blanc for layers of honeydew, peaches, and mango. Here’s to unlikely heroes in unexpected places (and a really great book about a mouse that mattered). Brilliantly refreshing!
Nottingham (English IPA, 16 oz. @ 5.7%)
England is the birthplace of IPAs. It’s also where Matt learned to brew, and this classic old-school IPA is named after one of his favorite places. Maris Otter malt base, with just the right amount of Dark Crystal and Flaked Barley to balance out the English hops.
Kövenant Kölsch (German Kolsch, 20 oz. @ 5.6%)
Those Germans are so particular about their beer that in 1986 they held the infamous Kölsch Konvention to hammer out the requirements for this particular style. Technically, a Kölsch can only be brewed in Cologne. But we think this one is so good that even the pickiest Germans would sign up for more. Crisp and clean, a great summer beer!
Amélie (French Ale, 12 oz. @ 5.5%)
Meet our new French girlfriend – we start with French pilsner malt, hop gently with two brand new French varietals (Mistral & Triskel), and then let vintage French Ale yeast work their magic. The result is a fascinating blend of light grain, golden caramel, orange marmalade and soft strawberries, in a beer that is 100% French.
PALE MORNING DUN ("PMD") (German Helles Lager, 20 oz. @ 5.0%)
“Helles” is German for pale, golden or bright; but it could easily describe the PMD: a small, yellow mayfly (Ephemerella excrucians) that sends trout (and fishermen!) into a frenzy in late June. This brilliant Helles lager has a similar effect – with crackers-and-toast graininess, our PMD is crisp, clean, excruciatingly refreshing. Come catch the hatch!
Shackleton (English Premium Bitter, 20 oz. @ 5.0%)
Another English classic – when his ship was swallowed by sea ice while seeking the South Pole, Sir Earnest Shackleton set out in a life boat across open ocean in order to save his crew. This is a beer for parched adventurers, both then and now!
Thunder from Down Under (Australian Pils, 20 oz. @ 5.0%)
A German pils with Australian hops? We’d give the shirts on our backs for this beer! Hopped exclusively with Helga & Ella (the love-children of Hallertau & Spalt) this beer pours crisp, clean, and the color of straw. We get lemon, grapefruit pith, and melon rind on the palate, with a lingering soft bitterness on the finish. Perfect for the patio
Jolted Phoenix (Coffee Infused Golden Ale, 20oz. @ 4.6%)
What happens when you infuse house roasted Costa Rican into an elegant golden ale hopped with Phoenix? The result is a chocolate, nutty earthiness that starts in the nose and carries all the way through to the finish One of the best coffee beers we’ve tasted!
Thirsty Pilgrim (American Table Beer, 20 oz. @ 4.0%)
Hop on the Magic School Bus for a sacred journey to your mouth: perfectly hopped with Columbus, Centennial, and Mosaic, this beer is immensely drinkable – light, grainy, refreshing. The perfect end to a long day’s work!
Achilles Heel (Dry Stout, 20 oz. @ 4.0%)
Meet Achilles, the legendary armored elk who roamed the Beartooth Mountains until we recruited him to keep watch over our taproom. But if every warrior has a weakness, this one could be his – a drinkable dry stout, served on Nitro and loaded with chocolate roast and hints of biscuit. Like Guinness, but better!
Virgin Mary (Rootbeer, 16 oz. @ 0.0%)
Yep, we finally perfected our house rootbeer – an American classic, made from scratch, all natural ingredients, 100% delicious. Perfect for the little kid in all of us!
